Lis's Story

Growing up in New York shaped my lifelong love of art and culture. Some of my earliest memories are of wandering Manhattan’s museums and galleries, soaking in everything they had to offer. Saturdays were filled all the museums, bookstores and exhibitions we could fit in. Weeknights were filled with art lessons.

Initially majoring in Studio & Electronic Media at the University of South Florida, I moved on to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where I graduated with degrees in Fashion Design, and Textile Development & Marketing.

Outside of work, I continue to make art for fun. I love to draw, make digital art, make AI art, do custom commissions of dogs and explore new paintings.

Some things that inspire me are beautiful street dogs, compassionate women, surrealist landscapes, mental illness and absurd concepts like Miss Piggy visiting my window at 2 years old.

Dozens of Dogs Rescued

When I'm not making art, I'm networking, advocating for, transporting, donating towards, and rescuing dogs. I specialize in transporting dogs from rural shelters into foster homes.
